Hi Everyone HAPPY SUNDAY !!!!!!!

Yesterday I had the BEST day. I took a "road trip" with of my fav people, my good friend Mary and we went to Downs Ks to a scrapbooking shop and crop. It was so much fun and I spend wayyyyyy to much money....lol I got my Thinking of you cards done, which I will post pic of tommorrow... And made a bunch of card bases for future cards I will be making....

Today after my MUST nap....lol I just had to create something and I am soooo proud of myself..... I just HAD to buy me some silver embossing powder I saw and today I used some of it... If you didn't know right now embossing is a fav of mine. So I had to use this technique on "my fav things" ATC TFL Sue

Happy Sunday!!!!!
Usually on Sunday I do nothing but I wanted to finsh these inchies so I could get them in the mail tommorrow AM... I was really happy with my embossing.... I just got my heat gun so I learning and I think I have found my new Favorite....lol At least for now.....:) TFL

Today was the last volleyball game.... I love watching the games but the season does get long.... Just glad it mostly over.....Still have tourny games....lol

Today I did 2 different ATC designs. I like them both and will do them at another time, but the first is alot like one a good friend of mine in swap is doing(using same stamps) so it will wait till another time......:) TFL

Happy Columbus Day !!!!!!

Today has been a typical Sunday for me..... I took a nap and slept most of the day.....lol But I have gotten a few things done....

I read a few more chapters from my book. The 3rd book in the Inheritance Trilogy by Christopher Paolini,Brisinger.

I made homemade chicken noodle soup for supper...

And of course I made my New Years cards for a swap I am in... I have been doing RAK's with a wonderful bunch of people in www.Cricut.com. And I frimly beleive that half of the joy of giving a "gift" is to see it used, so I try to use everything I am given in these swaps. Sometimes that is easier said than done....lol But a wonderful person sent me these stamps by Studio G ( which I am sooooo addicted too) and I knew they would be perfect for my cards, Thank you, Happykimber (Kim) And another good friend of mine, got me addicted to embossing and sent me an assortment of powders to play with Thank You Gina...:)

Today is another volleyball game.....Yayyyyyy I really am excited for the girls and that means there is only 1 more game after this.....hehehe I am really going to TRY to post more in here....

Yesterday I worked on a sketch swap Lora is hosting. I don't really do Baby cards but I had fun creating these..... Hope you like them as much as I do....TFL

Hahaha... I think "some people" think I should post more in my blog....:) There are days I have to work at just remembering to "breathe" let alone post in this thing....lol But here goes in a"nutshell"

Val is playing volleyball this year again and THANK G. that is about over.....Ohhhhh I love watching her games but I think every year those bleachers get harder and harder... My bum is soooo glad when it is over......:)

If any of you have checked out my blog before. You will remember how "out of control" my swaps were....lol Well I have had to " drop" a few of them...( which I just hated to do) But I think I have it more manageable now...I have decided I CAN"T join all of the ones posted. So if I don't join your swap, it don't mean I don't LOVE you "Lora" I am still watching and waiting for you to post pics of all the lovelies....lol I do swaps in about 4 different place with AMAZING cardmakers.....:)

Well I limited my swaps but I am NOT dead , so I still do some....lol Yesterday was Cardmakers Day and Mary ( a good scrappy friend of mine, yes Gina I have friends...lol) had a girl's scrappy day and we made cards.... I am soooo grateful to Mary, all kidding aside,.... I have been having a bad case of burn-out and making something was the last thing I wanted to do but she made me come over...lol Even if all I wanted to do was play and not make anything.... Well I brought the stuff to make 2 cards and I made 4 cards and played around with my new loves.....Inchies and the Cricut machine (I NEED oneeeeeeeeeee)... Here is my card....TRL


Well my creative block is goneeeeeeeeeeeeee....Thanks Mary, love ya.....:) Today I played arround with my inchie cards Teresa is holding.... Inchies are soooo addicting and so hard....It is hard fitting all you want in such a small space....lol But here is what I came up with....TFL And that is 2 swaps done.....YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!


In 2 Sassy we did a Summer Pal swap....This was a blast and I was lucky enough to have a very good friend as my Summer Pal....Mary Well you were to get to know each other better, and even though we knew each other to begin with, I think we got closer.... We were to give each other a list of wants...some bought and some home-made.... Well I have always wanted an intial for in my scrapping room but I have never found time to make one, so I took easy wayout and asked Mary to make me one.....lol Well to make a long story short, she saw a blank one and froze, had NO idea what to do with it....Well she took a deep breath and let her self go and WOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!! This is what I got and I love it...Hope you think so too.....TFL

Hi All..... I'm tired.... The last 2 days I have started walking in evening 2 miles and I am POOPED....lol
I finished my 2 Winter Swaps and I forgot to take the rest of the pics.....Ohhhh well I loved all 16 cards and I was very happy with them all.... I hoipe others will like them too... I will have them in mail Monday....
I joined the cricut board and they have swaps and raks there... I have been entering RAK's and told myself I won't join any more till I get my return stuff....lol
Well it is after 10 and time for me to go to bed.... I just thought I better post in here...lol

Today I finally looked at my swaps.... And I am in wayyyyyyyy too many !!!!!! But I love them :) I am working on my Winter Cards right now. I thought I needed 10, not to bad..... I need 10 for 1 swap and 6 for the other one.....LMAO.... Oh well it a good thing I love making cards.....lol So where I decided I most make 2 cards a day....Ohhhhh can make more but I MUST do at least 2......So far it has gone pretty well... I still have to make time for my reading and my pogo time....lol

Today was the first day of my hubby's vacation...lol I am ready for him to go back to work..... He did nothing much today but tinker around the house.... I am NOT looking forward to retiring....LMAO... I got 2 more cards done for my Winter Swaps.....TFL

Today was my "lazy" day... Yesterday Logan had a city wide garage sale... My husband would say a lot of people where cleaning out their JUNK...lol I got a plastic crate set that i set up in my scrap room....I am trying to get more organized. And I want to put things out to where I can see them and use them.... Hope this helps...
Today I started my 2 Winter card swaps, I am in... I decided I was going to try to use odds and ends I have laying arround... Here are my first 2 for a set of 10 I need... TFL...And I kind of like them....:)

Hi All,
Nothing much happening around here but it is still so HOTTTTTTTT!!!!!! But that is summer and soon it will be Winter and then we will complain about the cold....Hahahaha
Went shopping with Val Thursday and spent way to much money....lol Now I know why I don't live close to a Hobby Lobby..... I could go nutz in there. I really need to sit down and make out an order for my fav on-line shop, 2 Sassy.com.
I got my Garden Atc's done last night so I will get to mail them Monday with my Christmas in July cards...That is 2 more swaps out of the way...lol I was thinking of looking at some swaps on 2 peas but they looked kind of complicated...lol I will stick to where I am right now..... Hi All,
Today I am working on my Christmas in July Cards....It is way toooooo HOT to be thinking about Christmas....lol And tomorrow Val and I are going school shopping. I am really thinking about having acrylic nails put back on.... I had them for a couple years and had no problems with them but then I started working at the greenhouse/floral shop and they were always in the way...lol We will see.....Sue

Happy Days !!!! Today we are half way through Harvest !!!! And I go to work at grocery store soon.... I finished the rest of my swap I need 10 cards,using "ink" some how.....
This was a fun swap to do and I used a lot of "odds and ends" I had laying around....lol Tomorrow I will mail them off !!!! Here are the 4 remaining ones....TFL

Hi All !!!!
Today is HOT!!!!! And it is gonna get hotter....hehehe We are in Wheat Harvest right now but it is going kind of slow.... A lot of the wheat is still to green or the fields are just to wet to get into and it suppose to rain again tomorrow.... We will just have to see what happens.... Hi All !!!! Today I am in a "funk"....
It rain last night so harvest has stopped for awhile...I thought I would start working on some recipe cards I am doing for a swap... Well I have the recipe picked and printed....Puppy Chow And I have started with an idea on how to do them....It not a "terrible" idea but it taking forever.... For every step I take forward, it seems I take 6 back....lol And I not happy with the way anything is coming out...Most likely best I put it away and look at it later...
I think my mojo left...Or he is just playing a trick on me , watching while he "lurks" in the corner.... I would say it just my moods and I am trying to "push" something that just can't be pushed.....lol
Right now I think I will just walk away and know " Tomorrow will be another day"

Today is the first day of July and we have started wheat harvest. Everything is very busy around here and I finally got my kid cards done for my swap in July... Now ALL my swaps due in July are done.....

Hi,
Today I found out harvest should start next week and I am freaking....lol I am NOT ready for it...Well I am pretty caught up... I pretty sure I will be done by time it gets here, but it just the unknown stuff...lol
I know when it starts, i will start living at the elevator ,when i am not working at the grocery store or doing my other jobs,wife,mother,caretaker,ect........I am soooo looking forward to it, NOTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT.....
Oh well what will happen will happen.... Doesn't do any good to stress out about it....lol Thanks for listening..... Sue

1.Wondering if my dog will be ok this morning or will we go through another bought of seizures.
2. Hoping I don't have to cover for Austin at work tonight.
3.I need to get a few more BBQ recipe cards done.
4. Will I be able to get all this laundry done before i leave for work.

I meant to write this yesterday but I found I couldn't...I was in a pretty "sad" mood...
Yesterday I had to do something I really didn't want to do.....I had to tell someone who means A LOT to me that I just couldn't do something at this time... I came to the conclusion that I just can't do it ALL , though at times I try....lol
I just made a to-do list of all the things I am up to doing in the next month...And I found out it is a lot....lol I am trying like crazy to get all my July stuff done right now before wheat harvest begins.....
I just hope a couple important people ( Denise and Lora) understand why I had to make that choice and will think of me again in the coming months that aren't so busy.....:) On my list, I really want to get smaller.... I plan on deleting items I get done....lol

Someone had to remind me that I even had a blog.....That is how busy this last month has been. Between Graduations, school getting out, last minute school functions.... I have been lucky to get a breath in let alone any scrapping. Well some of us can live without breathing but I have to get "some " scrapping in....Hahahaha
Lots have been talking about "organizing" in 2 Scrappy and I am "a little" organized....Well my "chaos" is kind of organized.....LOL I have been looking for a way to organize all my ribbons (yep right now I am in another ribbon swap and plan on getting A LOT more ribbon, a girl can never have enough...lol) I didn't want to put them in a closed container. This works well for others and I have seen some cool setups but I tend to be a sight scrapper....lol If I can see it , I use it otherwise I forget I have it...lol So this is what I used and came up with...



And thank you L for reminding me of this blog.... I will try to work harder at updating it....:) Sue

Today was a wonderful day.... I ran errands early this morning. Went for my mile walk with the dog.... He is laying behind me giving me dirty looks between his snores....He thinks I'm abusing him and trying to kill him with the exercising...lol
Today i had 6 packages to mail at the PO... I adore swaps....any kind of swaps...i just love them...:) I was hostess of a card swap I sent off today. Plus I was in a trim/button swap and a ribbon swap, I sent in today, all from Pixie... In Sassy i asked if anyone would be interested in a button swap... The replies were fantastic:) The swap is a go and will be closed on Friday... Mary, Vicky and I have already ordered our buttons and I am sooooo looking forward to this swap:). I finished my book today...:) And I have another of his sitting here for me to start....But tomorrow I have 9 recipe cards that are due May 1st in Pixie calling my name...(hehehe I forgot about them)

Good Morning !!!!
I decided to blog in here early this morning Right now it is a chilly 49 degrees outside but it promises to be a beautiful sunny day. On my way through the kitchen I glanced outside and saw a couple of my daffidills had bloomed ( wonder how long they will last if we get wind) Maybe Spring is starting to get her finally....

Right now I am getting ready for church. Today is a special day, First Communion and we have 2 getting it. The Choir will sing today. I love being in choir, it is one thing both Val and I can do together.

Today is my "LAZY" day,one of my favorite hobbies besides scrapping is reading. So after church and lunch , I will spend most of the rest of the day resting and reading. Right now one of my favorite authors is James Patterson, I have read most of his new books but i am going back and reading his old ones. I just finished Roses are Red and have started Violets are Blue.

Oh well I better continue to finish getting ready for church....

April 19th

When I started this blog, I told myself this would be a "positive" experience. But my life isn't ALL positive and I try to teach my children that any life isn't all positive. It is alright to have a "blagh" day, but life is real short and everyday you live it "try" to remember even the worse days have "positive" things in them...:)

Today is one of my "blagh" days.... It is a beautiful sunny 71 degrees out with little to no wind ( something that rarely happens in Kansas). But that isn't enough to cheer me up... It is not that I am sad....I just not happy...Maybe it is boredom...lol

I tried working on a LO for scrapping but it felt "forced" best to put it away for now.... Some days are like that... I think I will just go watch a movie with my family tonight.....

April 18th

Now today is feels more like Spring. In my corner of the world it is a sunny 61 degrees out. I don't plan on breaking out the shorts for awhile, but i can bet it is the first thing my daughter does when she gets home from school.
Nothing much has happen here today, which is great.... Meaning i have spent most the day doing the thing i love most, scrapping...:) Lora posted the new sketch challenge on the 2 Sassy Blog and I loved it. I think it was one of her best and i just had to stop what I was doing and scrap it. I hope you like my idea of her sketch as much as I loved doing it and my finish project... TFL :)

Today was a great day. Well it was cold and rainy so that wasn't too great .... But I spent the Day in Hays at the State Band Contest and our school Band took a 1....They not only looked great ,they sounded it too.
